The Longman BookStar Programme

The BookStar Programme is an initiative of Longman Nigeria to foster a vibrant reading culture by bringing world-class books closer to Nigerians.

First-of-its-kind in the industry, the programme operates through a network of Independent Sales Associates who bring books to the door-step of their relations, friends, colleagues, neighbours and other acquaintances.

The programme objectives are:
• promote a vibrant reading culture
• improve access to on-school books for children, youth and professionals to develop themselves
• create part-time or full-time employment opportunities for Nigerians who need a creative outlet for their entrepreneurial drive

The results so far have been astounding
